Rule 176 Notice of closure or discontinuance of vocational training centre

176. Notice of closure or discontinuance of vocational training centre.- When it is intended to close a training centre established under these rules or to discontinue the working thereof for a period exceeding sixty days, the employer of a mine or the owner of a common vocational training centre as the case may be, shall give a notice in the manner and formDefined in rule 2(b): FORM means FORMS annexed in Annexure VII to these rules as may be specified by the Chief Inspector-cum-Facilitator through general or special order issued from time to time stating the reasons for such closure or discontinuance, not less than thirty days prior to such closure or discontinuance:
Provided that the employerof the mines shall give notice forthwith when on account of unforeseen circumstances a training centre is closed or discontinued before the said notice has been given or without previous intention the discontinuance extends a period of sixty days.
